Fantastic place; the perogies are excellent (tried the Cheesburger Taco, and the Jalapeno ones), the owner is friendly, and the eccentric decor is wonderful
Best perogies I ever had I live 1 hour and a half and everytime I am in the area I have to go get perogies. So many different kind of flavors to choose from and how they prepare it with the onions, bacon, sour cream and crisp on the sides of the perogie is perfection. I definitely recommend everyone to try this spot.
Was vacationing at a cottage on the bay and stopped in on my way out of town. Wish I'd come in sooner! The classic Polish were great and some of the more creative flavors (jalapeño & reuben) were tasty. Front of house is a great little spot. Thank you, Perogie Palace!
Real Polish, made fresh, outstanding. 4 indoor tables, 2 out. Huge takeout and catering business. Alex and Becky are it. Service prompt, food when it's ready. Even borscht which I haven't had in a while. A great find!
Very small restaurant serving perogies and other Polish dishes. The place is run by two people and they make their food fresh. The downside however is that they don't have everything on the menu available at all time. I had borsh with a mix of polish style and ruben perogies. The place has many things to entertain youself with while waiting for your food.
Took a week off work for a cottage trip with friends and Perogie Palace is definitely a highlight of the week! Be sure to stop by when you're in town!
We decided to stop in for some takeout on our way through Meaford and I’m so glad we did We tried a little bit of everything; polish perogies, schnitzel and cabbage rolls. The only thing that sucked was having to smell all that fresh-made goodness on the ride home and not being able to dive in right away!
The best Perogies we’ve ever had! Do not skip this spot ! We went last night after a long day hiking around the area with our hearts set on perogies. We saw the CASH ONLY sign on the door and walked up the hill to the TD atm and came back. Perogies are by the 1/2 dozen or full dozen so we order two dozen Polish Perogies. We were told about 15 minutes for them to be fried up fresh. It was only about 10 minutes until we had a bag of hot Perogies in our lap and made it home. These were seriously the best Perogies we’ve ever had. Flavourful, cheesy and loaded with toppings including real bacon and both fried onions and fresh green onions. There was more than enough sour cream for both of us and we had left over Perogies the next day. Can’t wait to go back :)
